Looking for some interactive Holy Week activities your family can do together? Look no further! Here I have compiled a list of object lessons, crafts, and hands on illustrations for helping to bring the stories of Jesus to life for your kids during each day of Holy Week.

Some of these Holy Week activities are perfect for family devotion time or Sunday School lessons. Others are just right for filling your Holy Week basket. Unsure what a Holy Week basket is? It is a different take on Easter baskets in which your child fills their basket with objects/crafts representing the stories of Jesus each day of Holy Week. It does not have to take the place of gift-giving. In our family, filling our Holy Week basket only adds to the joy, understanding, and anticipation of Resurrection Sunday.
My book Resurrection Moments is now available here in the Chasing Those Moments Shop and on Amazon! It is a family devotional for all of the Lenten season. I have written devotions beginning with Ash Wednesday (Unsure just what Ash Wednesday is? Check out this post.) and going through the Sundays of Lent through each day of Holy Week (Unsure just what the season of Lent entails? Check out this post.). The activities listed below supplement the stories and devotions in the book perfectly!
Look under your child’s age group to find age-appropriate crafts and activities for each day. Each project will be linked to instructions and tips for completion. Be sure to check back often, as more activities are added regularly!
